Coaches don’t stick with teams forever, nor should they.

When a new coach comes along, there is a tendency to cast aside the advice that has gone before (see. “My Agile is Better Than Your Agile”).
What ensues is a lot of contradictory information and advice that confuse and disrupt whatever gains the team has made.
When you start a new engagement, meet the team where they are and be respectful of the progress that they have made. Remind them that you’re not looking to undo what they’ve done, just continue to make it better.
